The long wait is over then? From now incredulous reader of the Song of Ice and Fire
GRRMartin
this is the reaction at the announcement of the "Not a Blog" by stating that the U.S. July 12, 2011 will be in bookshops on the fifth volume of the saga: A Dance With Dragons
.
is over then! "No, almost" the author writes. But the helmets world (this is the meaning of his statement) July 12 we will have the book in your hands! Here is the statement in its entirety:
No. Sorry. It is not over yet. But we're almost there. Keep an eye on this page. When the book is ready, you'll know it here. Meanwhile ... what's new. Great news. Finally, dopo aver tanto atteso, la fine è in vista e siamo così vicini che i miei redattori e gli editori della Bantam Spectra hanno fissato una data di effettiva pubblicazione. A DANCE WITH DRAGONS sarà nelle vostre librerie di fiducia
MARTEDI 12 LUGLIO 2011 Sì, lo so. This date is real. Tsunami coming, general strikes, wars, asteroids or falling, you have the book in my hands next July 12. I hope you enjoy it. (For what it's worth, the book is of monstrous proportions as Storm of Swords) The dragons are coming then. Get ready to dance! And ... Thanks for waiting.
After an odyssey of waiting, then press denied, dates postponed, false reports in which it was suspected that the author was ill, assumptions about a creative block seems therefore that the author will read this fifth chapter in one of the finest fantasy sagas. It should be noted that the release date is that of the book in its original language. We hope that in Italy the release of the novel is not late, and above all prepare ourselves further because as the previous volumes will certainly broken up into two or three parts (if not more).
all for now but I'll keep you updated on the output of what promises to be an epic novel in the fantasy literature.
