Riccardo . Trascinatore, insostituibile, impareggiabile, instancabile, atletico, sanguigno, fumino. Il nostro cambio di ritmo, di direzione… una fatica stargli dietro!

Calvin . Per quanto Riccardo gli urli dall’inizio alla fine della partita, chi realizza in meta i suoi volteggi? Il nostro “mago“!

Danilo . E’ sempre un piacere giocare con lui. Instancabile, paziente, generous. Great.

Sabato 11 Luglio si è svolta a Volargne (Vr) la terza tappa del Campionato Italiano 2009. Baldanzosi sono arrivati i nostri Dragoni, erano in 11 … Alessandro, Calvin, Daniele, Danilo, Elaine, Peo, Riccardo, Rosy e gli esordienti Nicola, Luca (13 anni) e Sara (10 anni). Mancavano all’appello due pedine importanti nello scacchiere tattico dei Dragoni: l’ormai “maturo” Diego e il “rauco” Gio…… se alle assenze aggiungiamo che il coach non aveva ancora recuperato dall’infortunio di Alpago si può intuire che la situazione della rosa andrà rivista.

Nel girone iniziale scontri con Modena, Taranto e l’ennesimo derby con Milano.

Inizio subito in salita contro Modena, la squadra è nervosa e caotica e rimedia l’ennesima sconfitta per una meta di differenza. Seconda partita contro i Delfini Erranti Taranto, la squadra migliora, gli esordienti danno l’anima … e non solo …. Ma il risultato finale è un pareggio. Nelle fila dei Dragoni comincia a serpeggiare ansia in attesa del derby ed alla luce del pareggio appena incassato ….. solo a fine torneo ci si renderà conto che Taranto è stata la vera sorpresa della closing day undefeated and coming in fifth place finish ... well done! R.
